The body shop beauties

So recently the body shop had a 30% off sale online so I made an order and it arrived a few days ago.

This post may be helpful to those who are looking for pictures of the " Baked to last" collection and the " Originals collection"

I did get quite a few items from the baked to last collection, just because the make-up items were so so beautiful.

Here are the 4 eyeshadows that i picked up. From left to right the colours are Copper, Quartz, Sage and Moonstone.

Copper is a true copper shade with a deep bronze tone on one half and a dark coppery brown shade on the other half.

Quartz is a true pretty pink colour, light and has a duo-chrome tone. The other half of Quartz is a deep and dark burgendy colour.

Sage is 1 of the 2 greens in this collection from the body shop. In my opinion i prefer sage as it is much more green and cooler toned. The other half of the eyeshadow is a dark forest green with the lighter green running through it.

Moonstone is a very wearable combination and has a light snowy cream shade one half and a dark grey-silver with cream running through it.

On the left is the baked to last bronzing powder in "Warm glow" and on the right is a blusher in "Coral"

I also got 3 items from the Originals collection, all the items i got are skincare items. Including the cucumber freshening water, Cucumber cleansing milk and the carrot moisturiser.

Hope this helped anyone who was looking for info on these products x

NYX Lip Lacquer Pots!

So from my Cherry Culture Haul I purchased some NYX lip lacquer pots. I got 3 of them & the colours are all gorgeous! The consistency is a little on the sheer side and they definately stick to your lips which means more staying power! yay! Im really loving these little pots of colour & they are great to add on top of a lipstick or very wearable on their own.

(From left to right: Rainbow, Coral-Licious,
Georgia Peach)

This is the Georgia Peach, which is a very nice light sheer pink.
This is Rainbow, a very nice nude glossy shade.
This is Coral-Licious! Such a pretty colour!
Decided to take some pictures of how they look on my lips, and I think they look really nice and im very pleasd with them. Go check them out and let me no what u thought? :)

Insight into Fashion & Photographic Makeup Course

So I'm taking a part-time makeup course. I wanted to find out more information on this course before i started. I now have started the course and so i thought that this may now be helpful to others who are in the position i was in.

I'm studying at Swindon College in the UK. I'm not sure if the course is available in other countries but I'm sure there are equivalents.

The course is 15 weeks long, which consists of 1 lesson per week, and each lesson is 3 hours.

Ive had 6 lessons so far. The first 5 lessons covered all the basics you need to know on hygiene, the cleansing routine, the base makeup, and a simple smokey eye.

So the 6th lesson, was our first assessment and this was doing a Natural Makeup Look. The aim was to make the model look like she wasn't wearing any makeup at all, so this was fun. I'm guessing as the weeks progress we will gradually build up using more makeup for the looks.

Next week we are being assessed doing a Bridal Makeup Look, so i am looking forward to that.
